EXHIBITION
Circolo del Design has given voice to the expressions of the youngest, to their wealth of meanings and plurality of codes to listen to, observe and interpret, activating the establishment of a Young Board in 2021.
Through a call supported by the City of Turin, the young team was formed, consisting of a group of ten students and young professionals under 26: Giorgio Bena, Lisa Brero, Giorgia Cino, Giovanni Corgiat Mecio, Chiara Finelli, Laura Mazzarino, Jessica Prieto, Nicholas Sabena, Artemisia Troni and Luisa Zhou.
The aim of the Young Board 2021 project was to co-design, together with the team of Circolo del Design, a cultural production to be included in the 2021 programme of activities led by the macro-theme Humanizing Technology.
From May to October 2021, the Young Board supported the multidisciplinary team of Circolo del Design that was able to transmit to them the dynamics of programming, organization and cultural promotion, also through a path of accompaniment and development of skills that have been translated into projects.
Specifically, the project wanted to give voice to the expressions of the youngest, to their wealth of meanings and plurality of codes to listen to, observe and interpret, forming the team on the themes of design and cultural design, enriching their skills, stimulating the synergistic exchange between different backgrounds and professions and not least enriching the cultural offer produced by Circolo del Design, favouring the creation of content in tune with younger audiences.
The cultural production curated by the Young Board 2021 of Circolo del Design resulted in an exhibition that told the story of a generation that lives, meets, loves through technology, entitled "Ok Google, find me somebody to love", on display at Circolo del Design.
The exhibition Ok Google, find me somebody to love explore the languages and expressive codes used in digital when you are looking for a relationship with the other. From the search for a human contact at the building one's own identity, until theintimate encounter, multifaceted, with the other.
