Design Residency 2026

The new resident of the Design Circle is Esmée Willemsen.

For the third edition of the international residency program Earthrise – Design for a Living Planet, Esmée will develop a research project focused on clay-based materials, exploring them as cultural, environmental, and narrative resources.

During the residency, she will connect with designers and experts based in Turin. Over the coming months, we will follow her visits, discussions, and experiments with materials as her research progresses.

The final project will be part of Earthrise 26“s ”From the Ground” exhibition in December, which opens at Circolo del Design on October 14.
