Il type design sta vivendo un momento di grande fermento e, nonostante la carenza di formazione specifica, i giovani graphic designer ne sono sempre più appassionati, per questo Pittogramma organizza al Circolo del Design di Torino un workshop immersivo di due giorni con i Type Director della storica fonderia internazionale Monotype e il fondatore di Glyphs, il software di riferimento per la progettazione di caratteri.

At the end of the first day, there will be an open talk for the members of the Circolo del Design, moderated by Fabio Mario Rizzotti (Pittogramma), with the participation of Anna Damoli (Monotype), Rainer Erich Scheichelbauer (Glyphs) and Giuseppe Salerno (Resistente Type).

We will address topics such as the history of type design in Turin, what it means to be a type designer today, managing a type foundry, the dynamics of typographic licensing, and how to propose a font to a client.
