He was an Italian composer and musician. In 1964 he founded the Studio di Musica Elettronica in Turin (SMET) with Roberto Musto and Riccardo Vianello, increasing the diffusion of the new electronic musical language in Italy – in the Sixties and Seventies – also through the use of the synthesizer as a concert instrument. Since the Seventies he has combined musical production with visual language – first with videotape and later with purely digital means – entering the ranks of the major Italian Computer Art artists.
