On the occasion of the first episode of Archivi d’Affetto, the Circolo del Design has invited four authors to reside in the house of Laura Castagno and Leonardo Mosso to tell and interpret their history, thoughts and poetics through the creation of their own unpublished works.

With Mariano Dallago, Bianca Felicori, Hagit Pincovici and Virginia Sutera

Mariano Dallago
Freelance photographer since 1989, he has always worked in the field of architectural photography, documentation of restoration phases and reproduction of works of art. He collaborates with various Superintendencies for the cataloguing of artistic assets. Founding member of the restoration cooperative Koinè in Rome. He is involved in teaching and has held workshops in universities in Italy and abroad. Since 2008 he has taught in the Design Area of NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in its headquarters in Milan.

Bianca Happy
Architect, author, curator and PhD candidate at UCLouvain with a FNRS scholarship. Born in Bologna, she currently lives between Milan and Brussels. Her academic research focuses on the relationship between art and architecture (1950-70) with Superstudio in Italy, Archigram in the UK and Hans Hollein in Austria. She has curated exhibitions and cultural programs at institutions such as Triennale Milano and Milano Design Film Festival. In 2019 she founded Forgotten Architecture, a digital project on lesser-known twentieth-century architecture that later became a book (Nero Editions, Rome 2022). In 2022 she co-founded the cultural center DOPO? in Milan, with Parasite 2.0, Fosbury Architecture, Plstct, Carlotta Franco and Salvatore Peluso.

Hagit Pincovici
Born in Tel Aviv, he graduated in Industrial Design at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem and obtained a Master's degree at Domus Academy in Rome. He teaches at Naba, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti and Domus in Milan. He creates sculptural collections in limited series, produced under his own brand since 2014. His research is focused on materiality and production experiments. His works are produced in Brianza and are distributed in the USA, Canada and Europe.

Virginia Sutera
She has always been interested in the creation of musical language and the interaction of music with other arts. Her projects, Duo Sutera Novali, ANSER and Tuscany Music Revolution are chamber music with original repertoire between writing and improvisation. She finds it wonderful to create music at the same time as it is being played. → Entrance to the Circolo del Design is reserved for members, membership fee 10€ (valid for 12 months).
