Via San Francesco da Paola 17, Turin

On board a historic Turin tram restored by Turin Historical Tram Association, a journey through the places of the novel “La donna della domenica” by Fruttero & Lucentini.

A travelling portrait of the city, between popular atmospheres and bourgeois architecture, accompanied by the interventions of the curators of the exhibition “The Sunday Woman: A City Lady” of the Circolo del Design created in collaboration with the Arnoldo Foundation and Alberto Mondadori.

 

Finally, we will give voice to the novel with some readings.

They will be with us Carlotta Fruttero, Domenico Scarpa, Giacomo Papi, Maurizio Cilli and Stefano Mirti

 

Event curated by Circolo del Design with Fondazione Mondadori and Radical Ging, with the collaboration of Gruppo Torinese Trasporti

 

The program:

10:00 am – meeting and accreditation at the Circolo del Design, with the possibility of visiting the exhibition
10.30 am – departure from Piazza Carlina with the tram with the following stages:

● Corso Regina Margherita (Balon)
● via Milan
● Bertola Street
● Via XX Settembre (Duomo)

 

Radical Ging

Marco Amici and Davide Astegiano, one from Rome and the other from Turin, are better known as Radical Ging, a duo born in 2017 with a blog dedicated to the world of reading and literature. Translators from English, editors and consultants for Mondadori, they spend their time among books, sometimes making them, sometimes bringing them to life.
