Introduces the projection Gisella Bassanini, teacher, architect and independent researcher.
She obtained her doctorate (1995) and post-doctorate (1998) at the Polytechnic of Milan with a research dedicated to female architects Eileen Gray and Charlotte Perriand. È stata tra le fondatrici del Vanda Group (1990–2000), prima comunità scientifica italiana impegnata nella valorizzazione del contributo delle donne alla cultura del progetto. Da allora continua a dedicarsi alla ricerca, alla divulgazione e alla scrittura su questi temi. Il suo volume più recente è Charlotte Perriand (Marinonibooks, 2023), written with Giovanna Canzi.

A space dedicated to the history of women in Design and Architecture. The project, curated by Mara Bragagnolo, aims to highlight and remember the many women who have contributed to shaping our history and society, yet have often been unjustly forgotten. These tributes not only celebrate their work, but also seek to explore female methodology, presenting themselves as a unique design approach.
