On the occasion of Earthrise 26 and of Turin Design City, we propose a bike ride that connects two exhibitions on the relationship between design, material and the environment.
We start from the Design Circle with a visit to From The Ground, the fourth edition of Earthrise. Through clay, an ancient and transformative material, the journey explores the relationship between resources, territory, extraction, and form. Clay is found, extracted, and transformed, becoming a field of interaction between technology, ways of living, community, and new forms of life.
From here we will move together by bike towards the MAcA – Museum A for Environment, near Parco Dora, to visit EcoRadar. The exhibition, curated by the Polytechnic University of Turin – Department of Design and Design, in collaboration with ADI Nord Ovest, brings together over 30 products, services, and processes developed by Piedmontese companies committed to the ecological transition, including reduction, recycling, reuse, natural materials, and biocomposites.
The walk will be accompanied by Chiara Franco, a guide from the Association of Cycling Guides and Escorts.
