Earthrise 26 – Design for a Living Planet

Nel 1968, l’astronauta William Anders fotografò la Terra dalla Luna durante la missione Apollo 8, restituendoci un’immagine capace di ribaltare il nostro punto di vista. Un pianeta intero e fragile, piccolo nell’immensità dello spazio.
The project Earthrise It takes its name from this very image, which changed the way we look at the planet.
 
After traversing forests, social ecologies, and democracies, for the fourth edition we felt the need to return to matter. Earth as a metaphor, but to the earth as a physical presence, to be observed, touched, and transformed.
 
At a time when much of our experience seems to be dematerializing, in this edition of Earthrise proviamo a riconnetterci con una fisicità ruvida e grezza, informe e sempre diversa, fatta di impurità e provenienze multiple.
